Office & HR Administrator

Dragonfly Environmental are specialists in ecological restoration of wetlands and bushland in Sydney. Award Winning and recognised leaders in ecological restoration. Highly organised system with 7 areas of business to make management clear and effective.

Office Management and Administration:

32 hours per week, can be over 4-5 days.

Overall Purpose: to have  Established, Productive, Ethical Staff in Dragonfly

  • Learn the 7-areas of business and implement administration with these principles.
  • Arranges personal hiring and on-boarding.
  • Establishes (gets ready) new people.
  • Liaison with our contracted HR experts EmploySure for all HR matters.
  • Maintains personal files and excell sheet summaries of inductions, training etc.
  • Updates and co-ordinates the updates of the ‘How-to’ documents for each area Dragonfly.
  • Reception: phones and emails handled.
  • Oversees the working of IT (software and hardware)
  • Medical liaison: liaison with professionals to keep good health in the Company.
  • Maintenance of good ethical conduct through out Dragonfly.
  • Co-ordinate meetings / workshops and take and action minutes.

Purpose: to have Effective, Well-trained and Fully Functioning Staff delivering outcomes.

  • Review feedback of work of people  in Dragonfly and acknowledge great work and take action where corrections needed.
  • Work with the rest of the administration team to continue innovation and improvements.
  • Ensure personal and Company Accreditations and Certifications are maintained.
  • Work Health Safety and Environment (WHS&E): Co-ordinate people in the company so that WHS&E are up to date.
  • Liaison with our Risk Mgt specialists and arrange people and paperwork of WHS matters.
  • Inductions and qualifications: update training register, ensure all are appropriately trained and co-ordinate training needs requested by the Operations Manager.
  • Oversee web-site updates and functionality.
  • Interview staff for training needs and implement plan.
  • Ensure staff are adhearing to systems and policies of Dragonfly.
  • Create and implement procedures in conjunction with Management to reward great work and correct error.
  • Co-ordinate performance evaluations and retain all records.
  • Internships: ensure trainees are successfully accomplishing their milestones.
